Een verhalend moment

Met “Voorbij de stilte” bieden we de mogelijkheid om individueel in gesprek te gaan met postbode en kunstenaar van het Postkantoor. Je verliesverhaal krijgt er ruimte en wordt beluisterd.
De kunstenaar maakt een eerste aanzet tot een hertekening. Op een later moment wordt een print van deze hertekening opgestuurd naar de verteller, met de mogelijkheid om het originele werk aan te kopen.

Stilte laat zich horen als een wind die door je woorden waait.
Neem plaats.
Jij met je verhaal.
Over verlies.
En verder.
Over zin.
En zijn.

Laat je wind maar waaien, zuurstof blazen in woord en beeld.
Van woord tot beeld.

With “Beyond the silence” we offer the opportunity for individual conversation with the postmaster and the artists of the Post Office. Your story of loss is given space and listened to.
The artist makes a first draft of a redrawing. At a later time, a print of this redrawing is sent to the storyteller, with the possibility of purchasing the original work.

Saar de Buysere ontwierp voor Het Postkantoor een fysieke brievenbus, de Huisbus.

Een postbus op locatie.
Voor handgeschreven brieven naar overledenen. Voor elke brief, een beeldend antwoord.
Want rouw en troost zichtbaar maken, helpt.

In een organisatie, een bedrijf, ... helpt deze Huisbus je verdriet een plek te geven.
Rouw en troost betreden zichtbaar een publieke ruimte. Laat het terug deel uitmaken van ons dagelijks leven. Stimuleert meer menselijkheid en meelevendheid.

Troostatelier

Het troostatelier is een open atelier voor nabestaanden. De postbode van Het Postkantoor vertelt je over de werking van Het Postkantoor. Haar oren beluisteren je verliesverhaal.
Daarnaast zijn er kunstenaars die brieven hertekenen. Je ziet hen live aan het werk. Kunstenaars vertellen je graag over hoe een tekening tot stand komt.

Het troostatelier is de wereld van rouw en troost in beweging.Een bezoeker mag verkennen en op verhaal komen. Sensibiliseren is het doel.

Het Postkantoor vous invite à une série de 2 temps de rencontre dans l'Atelier pour Consolation (Troostatelier).

Le facteur échange volontiers avec les visiteurs au sujet de l'activité du Postkantoor VZW et écoutera votre expérience de perte.

Les artistes seront présents pour transcrire leurs oeuvres et vous expliciteront plus avant leur manière de travailler.

The comfort workshop is an open workshop for bereaved persons. The postmaster of the Post Office informs you about the way the Post Office works. She is there to listen to your story of loss.
In addition there are artists who redraw letters. You'll see them live at work. The artists are happy to tell you about how a drawing is created.

The comfort workshop is the world of grief and comfort in motion. A visitor may explore and come to terms with his or her grief. Raising awareness is the goal.
